Nexvu Unveils Linux Supported Application Performance Monitoring Software

Enhances The Customer's Ability To Understand Application Performance And Availability

Nexvu Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital Growth Systems announced the general availability of Nexvu Analyzer version 3.0 - its network and application performance monitoring software.

Traditionally, IT support organizations have needed to utilize many tools in order to isolate network and application performance problems in their environment. With Analyzer version 3.0, IT organizations now have an easy-to-use, highly-scalable solution for their network and application monitoring, reporting and analysis needs.

"Version 3.0 is our most scalable, usable and feature-rich release to date," said Rory Herriman, chief technology officer at Nexvu. "Our customers and the marketplace have challenged us to develop an easy and intuitive way of interacting with a product of this comprehensive nature, and I am extremely pleased with our solution to that challenge."

New features in version 3.0 include:
-- A completely redesigned graphical user interface that makes interacting with Analyzer extremely intuitive for the user.
-- Smartgroup(TM) technology that provides more advanced correlation by dynamically grouping monitored elements based on defined criteria. For the first time, network and application management teams have the ability to quickly isolate issues to the impacted groups.
-- Support for 64-bit Linux adds unprecedented scalability in terms of concurrent flow measurement, packet processing and monitoring.
-- T1 based interface support provides the ability for organizations to instrument the WAN.
-- Out of the box integration with multiple SNMP-based management consoles.

Ed Vazquez, network manager of Magnetar Capital, LLC, is a recent a purchaser of the Nexvu Analyzer and a Beta customer for Analyzer 3.0. "The new user interface, combined with additional features, such as Smartgroup, has made the Nexvu Analyzer 3.0 an invaluable tool for our network and application performance management needs," stated Vasquez. "I really don't know what we would do without the Analyzer."
